When a customer first approaches us for a design build of a residential property, we conduct a detailed interview in order to determine client’s preferences. Once all of the preferences are taken note of, we proceed with the design stage, starting with architectural drawings and finalizing with 3D renderings of the residence. This way, our client will be able to envision the build before it is even started. This stage is also crucial for obtaining necessary building permits from the municipality.
The drawings and design will also incorporate a lot’s existing structures if applicable, and take into consideration its elevation, grade, and local bylaws. Once designs are reviewed and approved by our client, we will start the process of obtaining building permits from the municipality where lot is located.
